Frank Giacomelli started his training in 1985 at Mercyhurst College Karate Club in Erie, PA. Mr. Giacomelli trained for 3 years in Shotokan Karate and obtained the rank of 3rd Degree Brown Belt.
In 1993, he returned to martial arts. He started training with Master Kenneth McGuire in Loganville, GA. Mr. Giacomelli trained for 5 years and obtained the rank of Shodan "1st Degree Black Belt".
In 2003 Mr. Giacomelli started training in Tracy's Kenpo Karate with Master Pat Munk in Austell, GA. Master Munk went back to the basics and showed him a new way at looking at Kenpo. He taught him new material and refined what he already learned to make him a more complete martial artist. Master Munk promoted Mr. Giacomelli to Shodan "1st Degree Black Belt" in the Tracy's System of Kenpo.
Mr. Giacomelli was promoted to Nidan on March 5, 2005 by Master Pat Munk
